Merrell Capra hiking shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by john farrell from East Texas on Thursday, August 24, 2017seems a well made shoe and I like how quiet they are on pavement, my problem is that it seems a vary narrow/tight fit. I have done my daily walk in them for a week now, no real problem but they are not all day comfortable by any means. I hope this will improve with time.
Nice shoe.Verified Buyer Reviewed by fish hike from wyoming on Wednesday, August 23, 2017A little fancier on feet than online view but comfortable as all Merrels. Happy.
Awesome shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by DOCSAR from CO on Wednesday, August 23, 2017Fits true, tough and very comfortable.
Great hiking shoe!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Eric from Nashville on Tuesday, August 22, 2017Love the grip and durability!! Very comfortable!!
Great shoe, just not the best MerrellVerified Buyer Reviewed by Nick from New York, NY on Sunday, July 30, 2017I love the Moabs, but these Capras will suffice. The Capras are just as stable, durable, and cool as the Moabs, but they just don't have the same amount of "roll" as the Moabs. I mean that in the sense that the Moabs have a better heel-to-toe transition feel to them. The Capras will do just fine in long, fast hikes, but I just don't feel as nimble in them as the Moabs. The Capras also have a slightly higher (roomier) toe box than the Moabs. I am the same size in both the Capras and the Moabs
Excellent shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by JRod264 from WI on Monday, July 17, 2017I ordered these for our trip to Colorado and was not disappointed. Very comfortable and grip terrain very well. I ordered another pair I liked them so much, especially at $53.
Merrell Capra Sport Hiking Shoes for MenVerified Buyer Reviewed by Shari from Vermont on Monday, July 3, 2017Excellent quality. Fit true to size. Substantial red. Accommodate additional insole.
Nice shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by jf from Utah on Tuesday, June 20, 2017Nice shoes but a little narrow compared to the Moab ventilator. But still very comfy
Just not right for me!Verified Buyer Reviewed by HikingWombat from Missouri on Friday, June 2, 2017I've tried to like Merrell shoes, they just don't fit my long, narrow foot. Tried insoles because (honestly) Merrell insoles are thin and pretty much non-supportive. Even with aftermarket "Superfeet green" insoles, theyy don't fit as well as some other brands.
That all being said, if you like Merrell shoes and they generally fit you, this shoe isn't bad. STP price is very reasonable, and these cost less for the same quality as Merrell's other big name hiking shoe.
not for my feetVerified Buyer Reviewed by cb from oh on Thursday, May 25, 2017I like a wide toe box - i typically wear Keen's but I read a review that said this shoe didn't fit like the typical Merrell (tight and narrow) so I ordered them - Big Mistake - the shoe is just as tight and narrow as any other Merrell I've tried on. Too bad, it's a nice looking and light shoe - just doesn't fit my foot - I need a wide toe box and a narrow heel.
