Most Helpful 5-Star Review
I really like the shoes. There was virtually no break-in period. When I got them I took my dog for a walk to see how they felt. That first walk in them was for a li... Read More
Verified Buyer Reviewed by suethegrandma from VT on Monday, July 17, 2017so far my 18 year old grandson likes them and wears them. Only down fall when he first starting wearing them, he said he got a blister on the back of the heel, wearing them in. He used a band-aid and he kept on going..he really likes the fit, and the look of the boot.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mike from Maryland on Wednesday, July 5, 2017After receiving the shoes I was quite surprised with how heavy they are. I have three pairs of the Chameleons and love them however when compared to my Chameleons these shoes they are considerably heavier. The sizing was a bit of a surprise as well, I typically wear a 10.5 and ordered the same however the 10.5 is cut large and there is a lot of movement when wearing the shoe. Have not decided whether to send them back. Kind of wishing that I would have bought the Trezetas.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Roy Wild from South Fork, Colorado on Thursday, June 29, 2017I was hiking above 10,000 feet in Colorado. Out of the box, they fit perfectly. I felt confident wearing them, especially crossing a rapid stream. 5 Stars, these shoes rock as does Sierra Trading Post!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by BadThad from Cincinnati on Thursday, June 29, 2017No need to break-in, these worked for me right out of the box. I had a pair of Kodiak's that lasted me 7 years before these, those were excellent shoes for the price but required a break-in of about 8 miles before they were as comfortable as these out of the gate. I did note some heal slipping but some lace adjustment should take care of that. They seem to be well made, the laces are a little wimpy but functional.
Reviewed by Am Johnny from Colorado on Thursday, June 15, 2017Its amazing the inconsistency in shoe sizes. One 9.5 is really a 10 and one is a 9. That a whole shoe size different between makers. I returned it as it was BIG.

“Are you going out of business? You don't have any size wide. In mens low hiking shoes. In fact they all say 1 left anyway”
You have to be quick at STP. They often have limited quantities. Although I ordered this shoe (not a wide) size 11 a couple months ago. Surprised there are any left. Good shoe, though.
We are definitely not going out of business. Due to the nature of the closeout business, we often receive items in limited quantities. Therefore, popular sizes and colors can sell out quickly. Occasionally we are able to reorder a product, but closeout items are typically unable to be reordered. We suggest signing up for the My Updates as the best way to monitor incoming products. You will receive email notifications of our newest stock items.
