I am not a spring chicken but I can honestly say that Merrell walking/hiking shoes make me feel like one. Specifically, they eliminate the pain in my hips, and the CP Paragon shoes are no exception. If these last as long as my previoius pair, I will be back for more.

I have another pair of Merrell trail runners that are a few years old and look similar to these in pictures. So I was expecting a similar fit and feel with these and was very disappointed. These have terrible arch support and a very narrow toe box. They fit at least a half size smaller than they should especially in width. My other Merrells are the same size but feel so much more comfortable and also have better cushioning and a higher quality insert. Bummer.

I have worn nothing but Merrell shoes/clogs/sandles/boots for years. I LOVE them. That being said, this shoe was a HUGE disappointment. Not at all comfortable, nor what I have come to expect from Merrell. Plus, this is the first Merrell shoe I had to buy a half size larger. I must admit, I was not at all upset when the dog chewed them up. He enjoyed them better than I ever did...

I usually wear a size 7 but SP was out so, I bought the 6.5 hoping that it would be a bit big and fit but it didn't. I sent the shoes back.

Love these for a casual office environment or exploring the city, not so much exploring trails or hiking. Lightweight and super attractive shoes. If ordering again, I'd go a FULL size up from my normal shoe size to wear with a medium sock. Using light socks I can get away with just the half size up.

I use this for walking around town and walking in the park on and off trail. Comfy shoe by PF does not hurt with the Q-form technology. Rubs my little toe just a bit, could use a tad bit more cushion but all in all I love the shoe. Looks great with jeans!

About Merrell

The story of Merrell boots all started with a guy named Randy Merrell, who began handcrafting leather hiking boots back in 1981, shortly after graduating from industrial shoemaking school. By the mid-80s, Randy’s boots had already gained critical acclaim before being named “best boots in the world” by Backpacker Magazine. The next decade saw the arrival of new footwear, including the ever-popular Jungle Moc, which helped launch the after-sport category. Today, Merrell hiking boots, running shoes and sneakers are still among the best on the market, always combining the newest technology, innovative designs and outstanding comfort. Whether you hike, run, walk or just appreciate high-quality shoes and boots, we’re confident that you’ll love Merrell shoes.
