Well, they are Merrell's so I wouldn't expect anything less than perfection. They truly do not disappoint, either. One thing I have noticed about Merrell shoes, is that you are better off ordering one full size larger than what you normally would for other brands. However, once you get a size of ... Read More

I bought a pair of these shoes for my boyfriend and a pair for my dad. Both love these shoes. Merrell makes a great product. Shoes are lightweight, very comfortable and true to size. The shoes are non-marking on a boat.

Very uncomfortable across the outside front of the foot. I've hiked many miles in these and my feet are always sore. Now I can't wear them for more than 1/2 hour at a time. The white mesh stains easily with dirt and won't come out no matter what product you use.
    • Cons: Poor Arch Support, Poor Cushioning, Stains Easily, Uncomfortable
    • Pros: Breathes Well
    • Sizing: Feels true to size
    • Width: Feels too narrow

The offset footbed caused severe arch and ankle pain. I have 9 pairs of Merrells in my closet and they all fit like a glove--that's why I felt confident buying these shoes. However, something went terribly wrong in this style--I've never suffered such discomfort.

About Merrell

The story of Merrell boots all started with a guy named Randy Merrell, who began handcrafting leather hiking boots back in 1981, shortly after graduating from industrial shoemaking school. By the mid-80s, Randy’s boots had already gained critical acclaim before being named “best boots in the world” by Backpacker Magazine. The next decade saw the arrival of new footwear, including the ever-popular Jungle Moc, which helped launch the after-sport category. Today, Merrell hiking boots, running shoes and sneakers are still among the best on the market, always combining the newest technology, innovative designs and outstanding comfort. Whether you hike, run, walk or just appreciate high-quality shoes and boots, we’re confident that you’ll love Merrell shoes.
