I liked the look of these boots, but overall a little small. I wear an 8, and these were a little narrow and short. Also, the loop at the ankle doesn't appear that it will last. In other makers, these are a hook or a doubled nylon loop. Even had these boots fit, I would have returned them for this reason.

I have planter fasciitis in my right foot and a bunion on my large toe in the same foot. I have spent a fortune on countless shoes and inserts that were allegedly the solution to all my problems -- and all that money was a waste! These boots are totally comfortable and I have no pain at all from my planter fasciitis when I use them. I actually ordered a second pair, and I ordered the shoes that are the same Kimsey style because I don't know what I would do if I was without them!

I was looking for a light-weight, waterproof shoe or boot with a good tread for trail walking on wet/slushydays. I got wet feet with the first pair of these Merrells I ordered. I called customer service and they made my return quick and easy. The second pair I received have indeed kept my feet dry. The mesh upper is quite light and the footbed/inner sole has less cushion than I expected compared with other Merrell hiking shoes I've owned. Overall these are OK but not quite up to my expectation of Merrell standards.

Purchases these boots after ordering two pairs of another brand that were sized 10, my size, but were too short. These fit perfectly at size 10 1/2. The soles are non-slip, and they are, as far as I can tell after wearing 3 times, waterproof.

Lightweight and comfortable, these hikers are trail ready right out of the box. A wonderful boot

About Merrell

The story of Merrell boots all started with a guy named Randy Merrell, who began handcrafting leather hiking boots back in 1981, shortly after graduating from industrial shoemaking school. By the mid-80s, Randy’s boots had already gained critical acclaim before being named “best boots in the world” by Backpacker Magazine. The next decade saw the arrival of new footwear, including the ever-popular Jungle Moc, which helped launch the after-sport category. Today, Merrell hiking boots, running shoes and sneakers are still among the best on the market, always combining the newest technology, innovative designs and outstanding comfort. Whether you hike, run, walk or just appreciate high-quality shoes and boots, we’re confident that you’ll love Merrell shoes.
