Great Looking and Comfortable BootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by The Dade from Michigan on Monday, September 10, 2018I feel like I got a great deal. The boots/shoes are high quality. I appreciate the more contemporary design to look more like a shoe than their classic design. The boots/shoes fit well and have held up to my first few hikes. I would happily recommend these to anyone who was considering to purchase them.
Not worth the rep, not worth the trailReviewed by Sky Hiker from California on Friday, August 24, 2018Merrell's been letting me down, the past few years. Just not the same good, ol' Merrell fit, or commitment to outdoor activity. I bought two of the Moab FST line shoes. After half a year of wearing both of them, neither would get my vote to wear on any trail again. Footbed not secure, unsure on uneven surfaces - god forbid you wear them on wet stones after crossing streams, or even wet concrete. Wear them on weekends to the bar, you'll be fine and happy you're the kind of customer Merrell's now aiming for.
Not True to Size, WidthwiseVerified Buyer Reviewed by Robert from CA on Wednesday, August 8, 2018Bought Merrill shoes for many years. This is the first time these shoes were 'way too narrow; felt as if they were a narrow width, instead of a medium width. Tried another similarly sized Merrill shoes I had purchased previously, and these felt fine, if a little narrow, since I prefer a 2E width.
Beaten By New Hamshire GraniteReviewed by Mount Airy Hiker from North Carolina on Thursday, August 2, 2018I bought these to hike for four days in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. After four days and about forty miles, the sole had begun to separate where the grey and blue parts come together and at the toe- where the grey part connects to the leather. It wasn't a total failure- we had a great hike but a bummer that the shoes had already begun to fail.
True fit, greater hikerReviewed by Happy Traveller from Earth on Saturday, July 14, 2018Looks good, no surprises, nice fit, very comfortable for hikes
Awesome shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Pam from New Hampshire on Monday, July 2, 2018My husband absolutely loves them. They are very comfortable and stylish.
all day every day shoe!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Patrick from PA on Friday, June 15, 2018Bought these to wear to work. 10hr. days in a garage and on a car lot. They fit great, breath well and my feet feel good after a long day. I kill a pair of shoes every 4-6 months and the uppers of all my Merrell's are always in good shape when the soles are worn thin. [...] abrasive floor! Cant go wrong with Merrell products from Sierra Trading Post.
Not the quality you'd expectReviewed by Crackerbat from Oregon on Thursday, June 14, 2018I've owned at least 10 pair of Merrell Moabs. I work in the desert and hike many miles a day. The desert eats shoes. In my opinion if you intend to do extensive desert hiking, don't bother buying anything that doesn't have a Vibram sole. That's what I love (or had loved) about the Moab. It has the great out of the box comfort and a durable/dependable vibram sole. However, this last pair I got of STP are not holding up well at all. The sole is coming detached in several places on both shoes. The stitching on the top of the shoe is also coming undone. I've had Moabs last months, and these started falling apart within the first month of heavy use. I'm wondering if these are seconds? Definitely not the quality Iv'e come to expect from Merrell. Kind of disheartening when your old reliable ain't so reliable anymore.
Light & SturdyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Pisgah Hiker from North Carolina on Wednesday, May 30, 2018True to size (11.5) with no break in time. These shoes felt great right out of the box.
I wear full size water-proof hiking "boots" for backpacking trips but the Moab hiking shoes are great for short dry treks or even around town, Nice grippy Vibram sole too!
flawedVerified Buyer Reviewed by Palo from San Diego on Monday, May 28, 2018Nice looking Shows. Great soles. However there is something off about the angle the sole forces on the foot. Hurt my heel, hip and lower back. My Chiropractor told me not to wear them.
