3.0 out of 5 stars. A bit lighter than expected...Verified Buyer Reviewed by VT resident from Vermont on Thursday, November 15, 2018Good walking shoes - not sure how will hold up to rougher hiking. Will see in time. Comfortable.
The real negative was in packing and shipping - shoes thrown loose into shipping box, box not securely taped for shipping. -

5.0 out of 5 stars. Excellent shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Cdaler from Colorado on Friday, September 21, 2018I took these on vacation right when they arrived, no break in time and were great for walking and hiking big risk but they had just arrived and I really wanted to try them out. They still have mud on them from the trails around Hana, HI.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Not worth the rep, not worth the trailReviewed by Sky from California on Friday, August 24, 2018Merrell's been letting me down, the past few years. Just not the same good, ol' Merrell fit, or commitment to outdoor activity. I bought two of the Moab FST line shoes. After half a year of wearing both of them, neither would get my vote to wear on any trail again. Footbed not secure, (half shank?) unsure on uneven surfaces - god forbid you wear them on wet stones after crossing streams, or even wet concrete. Forget "grippy". The big test?... You'll be glad to take them off at the end of your day. Wear them on weekends to the bar, you'll be fine and happy you're the kind of customer Merrell's now aiming for.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Comfy but order a half size up if you have wide feetReviewed by Gene from NH on Saturday, June 30, 2018Similar to some other Moabs, these run a touch small. Especially if you have even slightly wide feet or like more room in the toe box go a half size up. I usually wear an 11.5 in other Merrells, but the 12 was perfect for me.

4.0 out of 5 stars. comfortableVerified Buyer Reviewed by The surveyer. from Missouri on Sunday, June 24, 2018No break in required. True to size. Good traction, yet you don't feel every little pebble. Remains to be seen how well they will wear. No leather parts. Little or nothing sewn---all held together with adhesives.
