Straight outta box!

Wore these first time out of the box going up Camelback. I have difficult feet that few hiking boots work with, but these gave me no problem -- probably because they are soft-sided (definitely not Backpacking boots, but that's not what I needed). They did start to feel a little loose later into the hike, but like I said I have tricky feet (on the narrow side). No problems with the rock scrambling -- they gripped great -- and on the steep, rail-assisted rock-faces too. Definitely worth the price paid for them. I'd buy them again.
