Size Up!Verified Buyer Reviewed by STshopper from Roseville, CA on Thursday, January 25, 2018Cute boots but I had to return them because they ran small. I read the other reviews about them running small so I sized up by half a size. I should have went a whole size up! Unfortunately they didn't have it in a bigger size for me to exchange them, and on top of that, I had to pay a shipping fee to return it. It makes it less appealing to order stuff from here unless you know for sure that it will fit.
Great warm winter bootsReviewed by Mamac83429 from Idaho on Sunday, December 31, 2017These boots are warm and very comfortable to wear all day. They do run small. I was happy that I was able try them on before buying them. I bought mine half a size bigger.
THey seem alright so farVerified Buyer Reviewed by C from Vermont on Tuesday, November 28, 2017I am normally a size 9, I sized up to 9.5 as recommended by other reviewers. They fit well. THe tread is awesome. THe zipper feels slightly awkward. I hope it holds up...
Too Small/ Order at least a 1/2 size bigger than normalVerified Buyer Reviewed by Kelly from Minnesota on Sunday, November 12, 2017The boots are beautiful but are too small. I typically wear between an 8 1/2 & 9 so I ordered a size 9. However, I probably should have ordered a 9 1/2. I haven't yet returned or exchanged them as there are additional fees and I'm not sure if I can just return them to the local store.
Not comfortable, returningVerified Buyer Reviewed by mo38 from Idaho on Tuesday, November 7, 2017Unfortunately, I'm returning these boots. I ordered 2 different sizes because I thought I would love them but upon trying them on, they felt like a snowboarding boot - very stiff and they bunched up by the front part of my ankle. Also, I could see how snow could get in between the tongue of the boot since it bunches up right there.
not goodVerified Buyer Reviewed by mtnknd from N. CA on Wednesday, October 25, 2017The foot bed did not feel good at all and the shoe was a bit short. Would probably have kept if the foot bed felt right.
Great Winter BootVerified Buyer Reviewed by Walking Mom from MN on Tuesday, October 17, 2017I have been on a mission to buy a new pair of waterproof, warm, winter boots. Several pair have been purchased only to fail in some respect: fit, durability, water leakage, etc. These MERRELL boots seem like they will be some of the best I've owned. Living in Minnesota, we need comfortable, reliable boots. These are well made, warm, adjustable, high enough for deep snow, and have a terrific sole. Although it still is warm here, I am looking forward to trying them out soon in some snow. I suggest buying up a half size though. I usually am a solid 10, but bought these in a 10.5. The 10 would have been way too small (especially if you want to wear a thicker sock).
LoveReviewed by Amber O from Oregon on Thursday, October 12, 2017I haven't had luck with Merrell boots in awhile but decided to try these. I haven't worn them for a long snow walk yet, but trying them on, they feel great!
heavy, bad fitReviewed by cara from arkansas on Thursday, October 12, 2017These boots were scuffed really bad on both boots, also the fit rubbed in the wrong places, the zipper did not work right, this is the first time I ordered a Merrell boot that I have had to send back. Lace shoes should also have a full piece behind the lacing, all these have are a big flap piece that was not comfy

“Are they easy to put on and take off? How do you tighten the laces?”
There is a side zipper to help with getting the boot on and off. The laces can be tightened for a more personalized fit. I tied mine pretty tight for extra ankle support so I have to push a little to get my foot into the boot. You would have NO problem though, if the laces were a bit looser. Be aware of sizing though. I usually wear a 10 shoe (sometimes 9.5) and bought these in 10.5 and they are perfect. So I think they run a little small. Good luck!
Yes, they are easy to take on and off. You tighten the laces like any other boot, and then use the zipper on the inside to take on and off quickly. After that you may have to adjust for thicker socks, but otherwise, once they are laced and tied, you don't have to lace/tie them again.
“My daughter is fairly thin and a true 8.5 shoe size. Do I order these in 8.5? Thanks”
I normally wear a size 10 shoe, however in these boots I ordered size 10.5. I’m very happy that I went a half size up because I like to wear thicker socks in the winter. The boot is super comfortable and warm.
According to our fit team this item is running true to size.
“What about arch support? I have high arches...”
These have some arch support.
