Just a little largeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Cat from Colorado on Tuesday, August 28, 2018These shoes don't fit like others I have bought of Merrell. They are a little large in the heel area. However, I'm keeping them and will wear my winter socks with them. That should fix the problem.
It's a Merrell shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Almaty Diver from Raleigh NC on Wednesday, August 22, 2018Haven't worn them yet, but they are what I expected, and fit just the same as my previous Merrell hiking shoes did.
Worth the Money!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Tammy E. from Alabama on Monday, July 9, 2018Bought these shoes for general hiking and for a little more grip on rocks. Tried them out on my daily dog walks in my neighborhood the first couple of days and them took them on some trails that were rated moderate / strenuous and they were very good. Good grip and no hot spots or blisters. I have wide feet and they had plenty of room in the toe box. They are a little wider in the heel than I am used to. If you have narrow heels these might not be for you. I bought the size 5.

Too wideVerified Buyer Reviewed by Ingaeng from Henderson, NV on Wednesday, July 4, 2018I have started to like Merrell shoes since they usually fit me well. But these hiking shoes were too wide. I have a rather narrow foot and sometimes it seems certain athletic shoes are just too wide. I do not have the same problem with regular shoes. Otherwise it's a nice shoe, seems sturdy and well made.
ComfyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Juniper from NE Oregon on Friday, June 8, 2018These were comfortable right out of the box. True to size.
TOO BIG/WIDE- SIZING NOT RIGHTReviewed by Got2luvManitou from Colorado on Monday, May 7, 2018I have purchased Merrell shoes, for over a decade. This is the only pair I hate. They are too big but they are my normal size. The toe area is too big but what is worse is that my heel slips out of the shoe when I walk. I have tried wearing really thick socks but that doesn't help. I cant even walk in these and hiking is out of the question. I am surprised at all the great reviews. These really did not work for me.
good mid range hikerReviewed by joatneys from Oregon on Saturday, April 28, 2018nice arch support, good traction, comfortable shoes. Perfect for hikers that want a bit wider shoe - while these are medium they fit my wide foot well. If you need narrow shoes, they arent for you. I'm ordering second pair so I can stash them until these are worn out.
Love the heel support!Reviewed by Urban Outdoor Enthusiast from Providence, RI on Wednesday, April 18, 2018I have one knee with only half a meniscus, and these shoes make a big difference for both urban walking and for woodland hiking. Some people do not like the snug wrap around heel support, but I do! I also appreciate the arch support and the little bit of added cushioning enabling greater comfort while walking miles on any surface. Mitigating middle age wear and tear = awesome!
Nice shoe, runs wideVerified Buyer Reviewed by Sarah from Colorado on Tuesday, April 17, 2018This is a nice shoe and very comfortable. I had to return because I have narrow feet and this shoe runs wide.
