I love the style on this jacket as most puffers make me look like I'm wearing a bag. I returned the medium and kept the small for a more feminine look. I'm 5'5" 135lb 34C. For some reason I like the look of puffers with ribbed material at the hem and sleeve ends but liked the elasticized look on this jacket as well. The hood is quite large and generously covers your forehead. The fleece lined pockets add warmth and comfort to your hands. And the internal chest pocket is very helpful; I keep my mace, keys, and tissues in there. The reason I gave it only 3 stars is because it doesn't keep you warm enough. I bought the jacket for my move to NYC and thought 700 fill would be sufficient. The other night I was out walking with a few layers underneath and I could still feel the cold on my back. For reference, according to Accuweather it was 25F, humidity 32%, wind speed 17mph, RealFeel 8F.

The color was beautiful, but the styling was just too bulky no fit or tailoring. They must have clipped the jacket in somehow for the photo.
    Sorry, had to return.

Very warm and hugs the body nicely so that cold air doesn't come up from underneath (yet not to tight). I have an XL that fits as most similar brands. It's well made and so far haven't had any filling leakage through the seams the way I have with other similar jackets.

I love the color of this jacket! It is warm and stylish. The fit was great for my frame (5'4").

About Merrell

The story of Merrell boots all started with a guy named Randy Merrell, who began handcrafting leather hiking boots back in 1981, shortly after graduating from industrial shoemaking school. By the mid-80s, Randy’s boots had already gained critical acclaim before being named “best boots in the world” by Backpacker Magazine. The next decade saw the arrival of new footwear, including the ever-popular Jungle Moc, which helped launch the after-sport category. Today, Merrell hiking boots, running shoes and sneakers are still among the best on the market, always combining the newest technology, innovative designs and outstanding comfort. Whether you hike, run, walk or just appreciate high-quality shoes and boots, we’re confident that you’ll love Merrell shoes.
