I love these boots! I ordered a size 9.5 based on the reviews of them being small, and I could have ordered a size 9. They are a bit big but they have plenty of room for thick, wool socks. I walk my dogs every morning and evening in snowy and icy Montana sidewalks and roads, so I needed a boot that accommodate these walks. These boots are a perfect height and are warm and extremely comfortable. They look as cute in person as they do in the pictures!

I live in Michigan, so I needed some really good quality, warm snow boots. These boots are great! I can tell that they will last a long time, and they keep my feet very warm. I'm very happy about this purchase. They fit true to size.

I really wanted to wear these boots; they look great. However, my pair came with one popped-out bootlace loop, and those all look so cheaply attached that I didn't think it was worth sending back for another pair. Too bad Merrell didn't spend the money to make those more secure.

I purchased these boots for warmth. Previously I bought name-brand boots and pd plenty to have frozen toes ! This time, my feet stayed toasty warm and comfy ! The sole is a bit rigid in the beginning, but loosen up quickly. The side zipper is also very useful for those of us with high arches ! Would recommend these to friends.

About Merrell

The story of Merrell boots all started with a guy named Randy Merrell, who began handcrafting leather hiking boots back in 1981, shortly after graduating from industrial shoemaking school. By the mid-80s, Randy’s boots had already gained critical acclaim before being named “best boots in the world” by Backpacker Magazine. The next decade saw the arrival of new footwear, including the ever-popular Jungle Moc, which helped launch the after-sport category. Today, Merrell hiking boots, running shoes and sneakers are still among the best on the market, always combining the newest technology, innovative designs and outstanding comfort. Whether you hike, run, walk or just appreciate high-quality shoes and boots, we’re confident that you’ll love Merrell shoes.
