I wanted to contain a puppy outside the living/ dining room area. I didn't want to drill any holes and so this gate worked perfectly. I agree with another reviewer to measure before ordering, because although it expands to fit it only expands so much before the next size is needed. Be careful to step over the bottom of the gate when passing through....it takes getting used to but works very well. Good price!

Sturdy construction and fits a standard doorway. Suggest to measure your doorway before ordering. I was about to order the larger one without measuring which would not fit. We are very happy with this product. There was one time when the puppy was able to push the door open not sure what happened but has not happened since
