Great Small climbing biner
Reviewed by RyanE from Napa, CA on Saturday, September 12, 2015
I have tons of these and used them to re-rack all my cams and new quick-draws and alpine draws and have probably shaved just under 2lb off my full rack just by doing this vs my previous full-size biners and those were already wire-gate ones. I bring lots of people climbing and am about to start the process of getting a guide certification, so all my old ones will still see use a more every-day rough-use ones. Overall the biner is small and so is the gate opening, so they ARE a bit harder to clip and people with especially big hands may have more trouble. You could still clip a fatter rope or two thin twin/doubles with these but chances are if you are going super-light you are running slimmer rope anyway. Just don't expect to clip them into a big figure-eighted cordalette power-point or 1" webbing or something like that, but not really their place.
