Wish I could give this a 6 like Jim from CT... I began with Sierra in their second year of selling out of their garage via a 20 page catalogue; my last receipt at the new local outlet said that I've saved over $78,000 in the past 34 years on our family of six. Last year I biked across America with one of my sons in Sierra gear. They've supplied us with much of our H2O skiing and other water sports needs. Their equipment has allowed me to lead students in style and comfort for backpacking and canoeing adventures. Likewise, their running gear has been great for my distance teams. And as for Johnny the Hiker's comments from Utah, 20 years ago my kids looked as good as anyone else at the Alta, UT slopes on an educator's salary because their high end Sierra purchases were reduced 60-80%. Finally, my experience for three-plus decades with Sierra has been the same, whether buying $2 ski socks or spending $2K on a ski jacket; they don't care what you buy or how much you spend, they always treat you like family!

Writing this review to offset the cowboy boot moron that rated this one start as he felt higher end, expensive items shouldn’t be on Sierra. Many customers are grateful that higher end clothing is offered here at great savings.
