5.0 out of 5 stars. Backpack with a light stepReviewed by Anonymous from Boulder on Monday, August 5, 2013I love these shoes so much that I ended up buying several pairs during the close-out so that I know I will have them available for the next 5 years. I have worn them for trips 3-4 days with 50 pound backs on and done plenty of trail running in them too. It is too bad that the industry is moving us back to a more high ankle supportive boot than these fortified hiking sneaker.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Grrrrreat shoes!Reviewed by Gypsy freeheels from Tennessee on Monday, June 3, 2013Went up a half size because of my wide feet and I believe that made the difference in fit. Very stable on the trail and fairly waterproof even though they are not advertised that way. Very pleased with the shoes, just hope they hold up for a long time.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Comfortable, Great Traction, True to Size.Reviewed by Anonymous from GA on Sunday, May 5, 2013The title says it all. I also think they are really good looking, but that's subjective. I would highly recommend them and even more so, Sierra Trading Post. I love STP!

5.0 out of 5 stars. new favs for the trail as well as every dayReviewed by waterbouy from southwestern ohio on Friday, April 19, 2013Stp does it again. The other reviewers pretty much covered. Right out of the box, the support with comfort is about all that is needed to describe these. Like the look and feel of them, sizing is as they say. Ordered my size and they fit like a glove, hope I have them for many miles.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Good shoes, terrible colorReviewed by Sunhesjan from Midwest on Tuesday, April 9, 2013These would be great shoes if you wanted to be a huge ad for Montrail -- the orange part of the brand name is VERY orange and this did not come through in the pictures.

4.0 out of 5 stars. well made but not for meReviewed by desert_herb from Golden CO on Thursday, March 28, 2013Very nice looking trail shoe. The sole is nice and stiff, good protection against rocks, but is thicker around the perimeter. Since I unfortunately have big hard bunions on my big toes, there was uncomfortable pressure on the big toe joint, so I am returning them. If you don't have this problem they are probably good.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Hiking ShoeReviewed by Anonymous from Wyoming on Monday, March 11, 2013I bought my first pair of Montrail ATs 2 years ago..... and loved them!!! Great soles, plenty of room in the toe box and comfortable right out of the box. I hike and climb in the Rocky Mountains and these shoes performed flawlessly. I bought a second pair later that fall for future use ( they were on sale). When I started looking this year for another pair I was disappointed to find they were discontinued..... except Sierra Trading Post had some. I quickly bought 2 more pairs and stored them away for future years.
