About Montrail Caldorado Trail Running Shoes (For Women)
Closeouts. When running on tricky terrain, you need support and rigidity with a healthy dose of cushioning to lessen the impact of the trail. The Montrail Caldorado trail running shoes have all of that, thanks to a thermoplastic midfoot frame in the upper and a FluidFoam midsole that disperses impact. They also have a full rubber TrailShield outsole with forefoot flex grooves to push debris out of the sole and to keep you on the run.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Hiker Girl from Mountains on Thursday, March 23, 2017I love the red/orange color of these shoes. They were really comfortable right out of the box!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Laurel from Maine from Maine on Tuesday, January 24, 2017This shoe has a firmly cushioned midsole that protects the feet on rocky, rugged trails. The upper is well built and resistent to tears and snags. The traction has proved true on wet rocks and icy trails. As solid as the shoe feels, it still gives a comfortable, natural feeling ride. Yes, the color is a bit alarming, but I love these shoes!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by CJ in Iowa from IA on Friday, January 13, 2017I bought these shoes for ONE purpose, because they were "RED" and would be perfect to wear to IOWA STATE games. They are NOT "red" - they are BRIGHT O-R-A-N-G-E!!!!!! SOOOOO IRRITATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This happens with MANY STP items...WHY can't the colors just be RIIIIIIIIIIIGHT?!!!!!!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Poodlegal from Cali on Tuesday, December 27, 2016I have a "low volume" foot with a narrow heel but need a shoe with good width in the toe box for my local 10 mile steep uphil/steep downhill hike. After many blisters and $ spent on best recommendations from very good hiking stores,I said hey, what can I lose for $39? Hiking perfection! Solid fit in the heel and no sliding forward in the toe box on my descents.I bought 2 more pair-these shoes are perfect for me.Lightweight and solid grippy sole.
Reviewed by Colorado Jones from Western Colorado on Wednesday, October 12, 2016I wanted to love these since I need to replace my old, and dearly loved Montrails. The problem is the way the tongue is sewn onto the shoe at the base of the laces. The bulkiness there is uncomfortable across the top of my foot at the base of my toes. Sadly, they are going back.
