This scarf in lovely--soft but substantial--everything you would want in a cashmere scarf. It is long enough to loop around your neck for extra warmth. The pattern is chocolate brown and taupe small hound's tooth check. Excellent!

I have had many buttery British cashmere scarves over the years and this is one is terrible. May be made in british Isles but I'm guessing it's Chinese material. If scratchy doesn't bother you then you'll like this, otherwise move on. I have merino wool scarves that are softer.
