Bag is/was perfect for kayak camping. Zipper was touchy from the get-go. Jammed up in the middle of the night...you get to guess why this 59 year old guy was getting up and really needed to get out of the bag before an embarrassing moment. Got a replacement that so far seems good...no issues with the zipper but I haven't used the replacement as intended yet. Five stars without the zipper issue.

Although it's not as soft and cozy as a down bag, it will come in handy during early winter or on those nights in early spring when the weather can't make up it's mind. The bag will certainly work as a backpack sleeping bag but, the size when rolled up takes up a lot of room. The bag works for me. I am known for taking the kitchen sink on overnights.

About Mountain Hardwear

Starting back in 1993, a small group of outdoor industry mavericks broke away from the pack to follow a less-traveled path. From the very beginning, the primary goal of Mountain Hardwear was to create an outdoor gear brand with a sharp focus on technology-driven design, superior performance and hardcore reliability. The result of this function-first mentality has been an array of incredible Mountain Hardwear jackets, clothing, tents, backpacks, sleeping bags and accessories. Today, after more than two decades of industry-leading innovation, Mountain Hardwear continues to set new benchmarks for dependability in the toughest conditions on the planet.
