I was surprised at how light and compressible this bag is -- almost like a down bag. The material is also very soft. I have slept two winter nights in it so far. One night it was about 10 degrees, the other it was 32 degrees. Both nights I stayed warm. I am 6' 5'' and weigh 185. There was plenty of ... Read More

Reviewed by Backpackin' Mom from Virginia on Wednesday, March 26, 2014I love the double zipper design. The bag is warm without the bulk and weight of other bags. The bag is small enough and light enough and durable enough for backpacking. It puffs up to full-insulation size easily and quickly. Perfect bag for the growing Boy Scout, or parent who just wants to swipe it for the weekend.

Reviewed by Chris from Alabama on Tuesday, January 14, 2014Just did a four day trip on the AT North Carolina section in January. We saw temps ranging from 10-50 degrees with rain, sleet, and snow and the bag was great. Used it for three nights and was never cold. I am a big guy 6"5 235 and the long was plenty big enough for me. Packs down small, weight is good for a synthetic bag, great bag!
Reviewed by WLH from Florida on Thursday, January 9, 2014Have only had this sleeping bag for about a week, but I really like it so far. It stuffs well for a synthetic bag and is very comfortable in temperatures near freezing.
Reviewed by craigerino from Lost Angeles on Tuesday, January 7, 2014I was looking for a good mummy bag for overnights in my bivy that didn't take up too much space or weighed too much. I checked out the Alps and even though the price was great, they pack up as big as a case of beer. This bag packs a little bigger than a big coffee can (with another additional compression sack) - although the sack that comes with it is 100% adequate. I'm just going minimal.... Overall, this is a great comfy breathable bag that packs light and small compared to every other bag on STP. WINNER!!!
