Love ItVerified Buyer Reviewed by Ski Dad from Wisconsin on Thursday, April 28, 2016Looks great, feels great, and insulates well considering its weight. I wish I had bought several of them.
Arms too longReviewed by snobob from SoCal on Friday, March 18, 2016I like MHW, and have a couple of these butterman shirts that I also like. This one, however, is a manufacturing defect, the arms are 3 inches too long (at least on the Medium). I'm 5'10" 155lb and wear a 33 inch sleeve in a dress shirt, and I need to roll up the sleeves on this shirt at least 3 inches. This is the 2nd MHW item that I've gotten from STP recently that falls in this category (size is significantly off from "normal" MHW fit, and I have a closet full that is mostly from STP), so I'm starting to get wary that MHW is dumping sizing seconds here and there is no indication to warn the buyer.
Good valueVerified Buyer Reviewed by chemsal from Virginia on Wednesday, September 9, 2015For the money this is a good shirt. I've only worn twice so I can not comment on the longevity of the shirt. However, the shirt does a good job of wicking moisture and dries fast. Will be a good base layer or outer layer on warmer days
The softest most comfortable fabric I have ever worn... I now own more than twelve of these shirtsVerified Buyer Reviewed by John High Sierra from Davis CA on Wednesday, July 22, 2015I enjoy wearing large sized pull over zip up shirts. I first purchased three or four of these shirts and I have been so pleased with the comfort and quality of these shirts that I now own more than twelve of them. I am 6 ft 3 in tall and weigh 235 lbs. I ordered XXL in these shirts because I enjoy loose fitting clothing. These shirts have shrunk slightly in the dryer, but they are still ample sized for me. These are an incredible deal from STP for less than $35.00.
With STP discounts; this is the best value fleeece top availableVerified Buyer Reviewed by John High Sierra from Davis CA on Monday, May 4, 2015I initially purchased four of these fleece tops. I was so pleased with my initial purchase that I have purchased five more in the past month. The fabric is extremely soft. The zippers are good quality. The overall construction quality is very good.k Plus, SPF 50.
Comfortable shirtVerified Buyer Reviewed by Brian from SC on Thursday, April 30, 2015This shirt fits great. It's really light weight. Easy packable item for hiking trips or wear it as a pullover for a run to the grocery store.
I purchased four MHI Butterman XXLs and liked them so much I ordered three moreVerified Buyer Reviewed by John High Sierra from Central Valley California on Monday, March 30, 2015These shirts are soft and they stretch when you need them to stretch. They are lighter than I anticipated, but that is not a problem since I live in Davis, Central Valley, California. The combination of the softness of the fabric and the stretch capability in the fabric is unique. I am 6ft3in and 230 and the XXL is slightly large on me, but I prefer roominess in my mid layers and in my outer layers. I don't know if these shirts will shrink in a hot dryer, but that is also one reason why I ordered XXL instead of XL. I have had bad experiences with Patagonia fleece layers shrinking down by at least one size if I dry them in a clothes dryer. There is no MH logo on the outside of these shirts, but I actually prefer my clothes to not be walking advertisements for the manufacturer. Oh yes, I forgot to mention that these UPF50 shirts are perfect for UV protection if you are out on a boat or if you don't like to lather sunscreen for UV protection and prefer to use UPF rated clothing instead. You will enjoy these soft fabric stretchy shirts for a long, long time.
Light, comfortable, and warm.Verified Buyer Reviewed by mdw from idaho on Tuesday, January 27, 2015The shirt is very thin, but it is comfortable and warm.
Old school Mountain Hardwear shirtVerified Buyer Reviewed by muy blastido from Oregoonia on Wednesday, January 21, 2015Butterman shirts are extremely comfortable and sizing is true with great colors. Will shrink if exposed to any heat setting other than low as is common with any poly's.
Nice lightweight shirtVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jon Deaux from MIssissipi on Tuesday, September 2, 2014This is a lightweight shirt that feels good against your skin. The fabric stretches so it will be great for active sports.
