Verified Buyer Reviewed by NHTexan from Chester, NH on Wednesday, December 12, 2012I am 64 yr old that likes to have a light weight hat on during windy, cold days when working outside. This fit the purpose perfectly. I have other such hats, but rarely wore them as then were too tight fitting (by design). This one is just right.... you will love it for work or play

“I was wondering of this beanie fits more flush to the top of the head or is it puffy on top? I prefer beanie's that fit more flush. I wear a 7 1/8 hat size. Also, is the "grill" color dark gray or light gray?”
tight to the head
It is pretty flush. Not as stretchy as some I have tried but that may be my head size (was using a medium Columbia that was very form fitting but didn't cover my ears well. This one when pulled flush covers my ears very well and isn't poofy on top.
