It is a little on the large size, and I purchased the size small, but I have plenty of room to fit layers on underneath if needed. It is fitted, so it does complement the female shape. Overall very happy - I will certainly be wearing this jacket a lot over the winter months!

Here in southeastern Virginia, our winters don't stay consistently cold, so this will be my go-to for most winter days (average of high 30s to low 40s). Love the length. I am 5'10.5", 155 lbs, and this has ample sleeve length and leaves room for layering underneath. The color is fabulous. I've been a fan of Mountain Hardwear for a long time as their sizes generally run true, unlike some other high-end sporting brands that tend to run pretty small. Their products are almost always well-crafted and thoughtful as well as stylish, and this is a great example. Love it.

It's a soft-faced fleece that's fuzzy on the inside, but it really has no shape and doesn't look good on. I'm sure it's very comfortable and warm, but it wasn't for me. I also thought it ran large - I'm 5'8" and 135 pounds, and I wear a small in almost everything Mountain Hardwear, including jackets, but this was kind of baggy in size small, which didn't help the fit.
