Always a great product.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Outdoor_adventurist from Los Angeles on Monday, December 25, 2017Mountain hardware never seems to let me down. They’re products are well made and they keep you warm. I bought this to replace my north face light insulating jacket and it was a great idea. The style and colors are cool too.
warm and well fitReviewed by RyMo from Northern California on Wednesday, December 6, 2017I'm 5'9" and 160lbs. The small is a perfect fit and is warm in 30f weather.
The sleeves are quite large at their opening to possibly accommodate gloves. If you won't be using large gloves, consider modifying the sleeves to prevent wind from entering.
Quality!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Bethany from Boise, ID on Tuesday, November 28, 2017I ordered this jacket for my brother, and he could not have been happier with it! The quality is outstanding, and the look of it is top notch. The down fill is not too bulky, but not too thin either. Excellent design by Mountain Hardwear, I'm very happy I found this jacket here for the price, it can't be beat (especially with the extra 25% off email offer)!
Great JacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Ian. B from South Dakota on Monday, November 20, 2017This Jacket fits well and keeps you warm. It is a better wind break and insulation layer than i expected. I'm 5'10" 175 athletic build and the Medium fits perfectly. I have long arms so getting a size that fits everything overall from my chest to my arms is awesome especially when i'm used to having to step a size up. The pockets and zippers are designed really well. Over all its a comfortable jacket and would buy another one or one as a gift.

UnimpressedReviewed by Biggs from The PNW on Saturday, November 4, 2017I had high hopes, because this could be a lot of coat value. Here are some pros and cons:
Pros: shell material is light, yet feels strong; nice deep pockets; good hood; looks nice enough for a jaunt around town; sizing is good for throwing over a base layer or a light insulating piece.
Cons: shed a LOT of feathers, and not down feathers (I looked back at the description and it says "Insulation: 80% duck down, 20% feathers" -- I don't know if this is some of that 20% whatever feathers, but it was excessive and more than any other down jacket I've owned); the cuffs are completely lacking in elasticity, so they don't seal around your wrists to keep heat in / cold air out (check the pic).
I'm returning this coat because the shedding isn't slowing down and the cuffs seem poorly done. No point in a warm coat if its just letting a bunch of cold in.
Nice PieceReviewed by patroller from Colorado on Wednesday, November 1, 2017Not a super heavy puffy jacket! That said, I think it will serve it’s purpose well as a lighter weight, packable, puffy layer. Great quality you would expect from Mtn. Hardwear. I am about 6’ 200lbs athletic build and the large fits well. Enough room for a couple lawyers underneath but not swimming in it.
Great jacket so far.Reviewed by Connor from Idaho on Monday, October 16, 2017I’ll be putting this jacket through the ringer in Idaho this winter, so if it doesn’t end up deserving the five stars I will take some back. That being said, my initial impressions of this jacket are good. It feels sturdy yet lightweight (but not so light that you think it won’t keep you warm). As some have mentioned in past reviews, the jacket does run a little large but is spot on with the sizing chart. I am 5’11” and 185 lbs. with an athletic build and the medium fits me perfectly. I have some room to layer things underneath but the jacket is still relatively slim fitting, which is what I wanted. If you plan to layer lots of things underneath or just prefer your clothes to fit a little looser, then perhaps a large would be better. But if you’re my size, don’t be afraid of the medium! Thunderhead grey is a good looking color, not quiiiiite as bluish-green as the picture but it’s pretty close, depending on the lighting.
Love this jacket!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Currey from West Virginia on Tuesday, January 10, 2017This jacket is exceptionally warm, especially for its weight. Been wearing it with just a button up underneath in single digits WV temperatures and it holds its own! Exactly what I have come to expect from MHW.
