2.0 out of 5 stars. Strange fitVerified Buyer Reviewed by shopgirl from Panhandle Florida on Sunday, March 12, 2017This jacket has short sleeves, huge body and a tight fit in the shoulders. My husband buys XL for the sleeve length and this one is not like the insulated Mountain Hardwear jackets.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Bad pattern?Verified Buyer Reviewed by Joe100 from Maine on Wednesday, March 1, 2017This is a great jacket, except that the sleeves are far too narrow for a normal person - fairly tight to get my hands through the sleeve end and NO ROOM for anything other than maybe a long-sleeve cotton jersey in the sleeve.
So I had to send this back. I wonder if the MH supplier had a bad pattern and I had to return another MH soft shell model that had the same problem, If the sleeves get fixed I would not hesitate to purchase either MH soft shell

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love ItReviewed by VM from Colorado on Wednesday, November 16, 2016Great looking jacket and as with all the Mountain Hardwear equipment I have purchased performs well in the woods. While not waterproof, it kept me warm in light rain and snow.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great Ski JacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Colorado on Sunday, February 7, 2016Bought this as a Spring ski jacket and it did not disappoint. The wind block fabric does the job and the cut is trim and well styled. The hem is slightly below the waist and lengthens toward your rear, which is ideal for skiing but I would not shove it under a harness due to its bulk. Great jacket for the right activity.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Outstanding soft shell jacketReviewed by Robert from North Carolina on Wednesday, January 20, 2016I was looking for a nice soft shell to wear as an everyday jacket that would be wind and water resistant and provide some protection against the cold. This jacket fit the bill perfectly. It is super resistant to wind. It keeps me warm in temps into the mid 20s with just a synthetic shirt underneath. I haven't worn in the rain or snow yet but I'm sure it will prove to be very capable at shedding water. I'm 5'10" and 175 lbs with athletic build and the large fits great. The sleeves are a tad long, however. I'm typically a 34" sleeve in jackets and shirts and these are about 1" longer than needed for me. Very nice jacket that looks great. Another great STP deal!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars. a bit tight in the chestReviewed by Anonymous from Beijing on Friday, January 15, 2016I am 5'9"(1.75m) and 165 pounds(75kg), chest 38 inch(97 cm), bought a size M, fits good with a t-shirt underneath it, a bit tight in the chest when add a sweater under. I will definitely buy a size L next time.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Runs large, but fits me great.Reviewed by Anonymous from Utah on Thursday, January 7, 2016I'm a skinny guy, 5' 10", 155lbs. I usually wear a medium, but depending on the brand sometimes a large. I purchased a size medium hoping the sleeves wouldn't be too short. The sleeves are actually pretty long and the cuffs aren't at my fore arm when my arms are extended. The jacket is roomy enough to wear a sweat shirt underneath if it's really cold. I got the green one and it looks pretty cool.

5.0 out of 5 stars. MHW Fairing Soft Shell JacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Portland on Thursday, December 17, 2015Thick but light, suitable for autumn. I try with a down layer inside, it stops wind well and warm above 0 degree (c). fit me well, M for 175 cm and 75 kg.
I really like it! -
