Moved everything from my old heavy pack and it fit perfectly. Is great for the day of ski touring, will easily hold shovel, probe and extra clothes

I haven't used it yet, but it is quite impressive for the features, size, and very light weight. Ingenious acutally. But I can see why they discontinued the very bright white straps. They will become dirty and ugly fast! I don't know what they were thinking. Looks very crisp and stylish new, but that won't last very long. I think this pack will function very well however. If you are willing to carry an extra pound of weight, the brand's Wanderin has even better features, but I wanted the lightest weight possible.

This is a pack that can be used for any type of occasion, whether it's an overnighter, or a weeklong trip. It's got enough room for plenty of gear, but can be condensed to accommodate a few items for a day trip too. You can access the hydration port without disrupting anything in the main compartment and has a side zipper to access gear without going through the top hatch. The white straps will get dirty quick, but that won't affect the overall function of the pack. This a great pack I will get a lot of use from.

I have the green model of this pack and it is the best pack I have ever owned! I use it every day for school and grocery shopping. This red design has fewer pockets which is disappointing. They also design it with white straps which will become dirty with very little use. I would rate it 5 stars if they hadn't re-designed some of these minor features.

    Very satisfied.
We do not like white seems to be dirty.

I purchased this pack for day trips, mountain climbs and traveling on airplanes. The pack size is good for all. The construction looks sold. I have not traveled yet with the pack. The frame is new to me and I am interested to see how it will hold up. Kind a like a louvered or continueal back and forth S which appears tough, will see.

About Mountain Hardwear

Starting back in 1993, a small group of outdoor industry mavericks broke away from the pack to follow a less-traveled path. From the very beginning, the primary goal of Mountain Hardwear was to create an outdoor gear brand with a sharp focus on technology-driven design, superior performance and hardcore reliability. The result of this function-first mentality has been an array of incredible Mountain Hardwear jackets, clothing, tents, backpacks, sleeping bags and accessories. Today, after more than two decades of industry-leading innovation, Mountain Hardwear continues to set new benchmarks for dependability in the toughest conditions on the planet.
