This tent is nice and spacious for a two man. I love the option of a screen ceiling style yet has the ability to zip up and be warm. I wish it packed a bit smaller. That is my small complaint.

Reviewed by Snow Sportsman from New Hampshire on Thursday, December 12, 2013This is a very flexible design due to the removable roof panel. It is somewhat heavy for it's size but very well constructed. I like the relatively good headroom for a backpacking tent. The only issue I have is that the side poles come down right in the middle of the vestibules on the sides of the tent. This makes is difficult to store a backpack in the vestibule which is very annoying. This is why I've only given three stars.

Reviewed by Chad from Colorado on Wednesday, July 10, 2013I spent a few minutes before I ordered the tent just to watch a video on how to set this tent up. When I received it, I was able to pop it up in the back yard in 2 - 3 minutes. Adding the rain fly was another 2 minutes. I feel comfortable knowing that I could set the thing up if it was raining quickly enough to not have to worry about getting wet.
Quality on the tent is great, and I really love being able to enter the tent from the side instead of the end of the tent. That makes it easier to get in and out.

You would still need to anchor it down well in the conditions you are describing. The fly has several guy out points which should help secure it in the wind.
