Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by Mariele from Auburn, AL on Tuesday, January 14, 2014This jacket is an excellent choice for someone wanting lightweight warmth and protection from rain and wind. I am very much enjoying it!
Reviewed by Mae the snowboarder from Puyallup, WA on Thursday, December 5, 2013First of all, I love this jacket! However, i noticed inside the jacket some of the seams have broke. They do not affect the outer look of the jacket, but it just bugs me when things aren't held well together. It could be when I sit down the jacket gets a bit snug or when i bend forward it ripped open some of the inner seams near the waist pockets. Overall, i love the look, the detachable hood option, the breast pockets and just the sleek look overall makes me look fancy even if i'm wearing sweats underneath the jacket! It's a good walk to work in the rain jacket or going out to a fancy dinner party but it's pouring outside jacket!
Reviewed by Broke Law Student from Chicago on Friday, August 16, 2013Purchased this when there were only M and L sizes in stock, thinking that even though I'm normally a small, since it was MH, it would probably run slim. Glad I got the medium--it fits perfectly, with room for a sweater underneath but without any boxy-ness. Nice pockets--four on the front and a zipper one inside, excellent waterproofing, good hood that can also snap off. I'm 5'11" and the waist is in the right place, the tail covers my bum so it will work well with leggings and tight jeans. I just wish it had a bit of lining to it, but for the price, I'll layer on an inexpensive light fleece from elsewhere on this site instead. My last North Face raincoat was just too short and boxy, this is SO much better suited to the tall and slim.
