Verified Buyer Reviewed by JMTgirl from Montana on Thursday, January 19, 2017I was surprised at how thin this was but also by how warm it was. Used if for backcountry snowboarding, it packs down into it's own pocket which is awesome. I use it under a shell for added warm. Love it.
Reviewed by Doris from California on Sunday, January 1, 2017I usually am a solid medium, and this jacket is definitely fitted. I can only wear a couple of thin base layers underneath. But it is warm enough for doing errands in town on a day in the 30's.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Kristen J. from Colorado on Monday, December 12, 2016I ordered a small (I'm 5'3" and about 120 pounds) and the coat was too big so I returned it. It seemed like a good quality jacket though.

“What temperatures would this jacket be suitable for? I want a jacket to wear while hiking in colder temperatures (freezing and below)”
It's very light but I was fine with this and a fleece down to the upper 20's. I don't think you can go much lower than that. I also bought the 800 fill version and couldn't tell much difference except the sleeves were much, much longer. I love these.
Sorry there is not a temperature rating. Most manufacturers do not have temperature ratings for their garments or footwear due to the number of factors that affect how warm a garment may keep you.
