• The Mountain Hardwear Microchill Jacket is designed to be an outer layering piece. It should have a semi-fitted feel. If your concerned about a really tight fit I would suggest ordering a size up! I hope this helps! Enjoy!

  • I think it would work well as a top layer under a ski jacket. I bought a medium, 5'8" and 160 lbs. The jacket is slim-fitting but comfortable.

  • This jacket might be a good layer under a ski jacket as it is very form-fitting.

  • I think these have changed since 2012, because the one I have is very tight. I wear xs in all athletic clothing, but the xs in this jacket probably would've fit me perfectly when I was 9 years old...no exaggeration.
I can zip it up, but can't fit any layers underneath...the sleeves are particularly tight. I'd size up a couple sizes if you want it to be a jacket.

  • I totally agree with Stella. I got an XS (I'm 105lbs 32B), but the arms are too tight to fit a long sleeve shirt under. I'm returning for the next size.
