Runs very, very smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by Hillary from Minnesota on Sunday, September 2, 2018I was really looking forward to these capris for hiking and traveling, but unfortunately I will have to return them. I usually wear a size 6-8 depending on the brand and in this case I ordered an 8 thinking I might want them a little loose. However, the fit is more like a 4 or less as I cannot even get the pants over my thighs. I'm returning these hoping I can find a size that works, but I hate having to guess what size will fit me, as it seems the sizes are not anywhere close to what one would expect.
The material felt good though and looked like it would have been exactly what I wanted - lightweight, sturdy, good for hiking and traveling - if the sizing was correct.
Great qualityVerified Buyer Reviewed by Benny from WA on Monday, August 6, 2018Great quality pants perfect for traveling.
However I have to return them because they run one size smaller than what I usually wear.
Good product, way too small!Reviewed by Toni from Iowa on Friday, July 27, 2018Bummer because even though I ordered a size larger than I normally wear they were still too small. And now all they have left is a size 4 (which would fit a size zero). ??
runs waaaaay small!Reviewed by Nan in NorCal from California on Saturday, July 21, 2018Normally wear between a 2 and 4 in mountain hardware so I bought the 4 and not go.
My 12 year old niece is now enjoying them. based on the sizing, I think I would fit an 6-8 in these capris.
seems like usual mountain hardware material
CJVerified Buyer Reviewed by CJ from North Carolina on Tuesday, July 17, 2018This may be very good quality, but it doesn’t matter if they don’t fit. As suggested by other shoppers, I ordered this item a size larger than usual. However, the waist was still too small - the rest of the garment fit just fine. Sorry to send them back but no point keeping something that doesn’t fit, would never be comfortable.
waist is smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by tf from honolulu on Monday, June 25, 2018I like the style, color, and material, of the Miranda Capri, however, the waist is small in proportion to the rest of the garment. I can't button it comfortably. I would return it if not for the shipping cost.
Runs smallReviewed by LM from Boulder, CO on Saturday, June 16, 2018Cute pant, love the color.
I am normally a size 4. I ordered the size 10 based on comments and while legs fit great, waist is large. Keeping them anyways as they are cute.
Good but order UP one or two sizesVerified Buyer Reviewed by LN from California on Wednesday, June 13, 2018I ordered these in a size 8 based on other reviewers' comments about sizing and got a good fit even though I wear a 6 or 4 in other brands. These are very lightweight and have OK pocket design: the cargo pocket with velcro closure is good for a cell phone -- other pockets do not have flaps or zippers.
Bought for African tripVerified Buyer Reviewed by Peoplefinder from Denver on Wednesday, June 13, 2018Should work well as quick dry. Have not worn yet.
So small!Reviewed by Haley from NV on Monday, June 4, 2018Just like everyone these were extremely small on me. I am 5'6" and 150 and I am usually a size 6 or 8. These in a size 8 wouldn't even fit over both legs. They were so tiny I didn't even bother trying to get a bigger size for fear it would take to many times to get it right.

“Why is the sizing so far off? Where were these manufactured? I am afraid to order due to all of the returns - especially if I'm taking the hit for the errors in sizing......It has turned me off of ordering from your company AT ALL!
Lucky me that these were the first reviews I read on your products.......”
I found these true to size.
I hade the same issue and the cost of the return prevented me from sending it back. The size is one whole size smaller than stated on the pants. After this ordeal, I am also very careful what I order from Sierra Trading Post. It would be great that they had a free return policy.
