Another 'pretender' for the yup-yup crowd

Sorry guys, this new 'improved' jacket is a real floater. There's a difference between something that functions well in actual outdoors athletic use and something that 'looks cool'. The II Jacket is a pretender. Way too blowsy in the torso, sleeves cut far too long, neck is not just tight, it is strikingly too tight. Reminds me of the Nehru jackets of the 70's.... Shoulders are cut so you cannot easily shrug on your pack. Speaking of pack use, anything other than a day ruck causes this jacket to ride up beneath. Shoulder cut is so tight that it makes wearing the jacket in actual outdoors conditions a miserable experience. No pit zips mean the only way to vent it is to unzip the chest. Slash pockets on the front are cut too high and are difficult to access during a hike with or without a pack. Piece of junk. Mine went back and STP did the right thing by taking it back.

Good jacket for going to dinner in town. Will cover you well from the time you alight from the Land Rover till the valet directs you to the covered marquis restaurant entry.....
