I had been looking for a longer coat and this one is perfect. Very warm and very flattering! I don't feel like a giant poofball but I am also very warm. The coldest it's been is 20 and with a scarf I was still warm!

Fit is good but it is not as warm as advertised. I wore it in 30 degrees weather in Northern Virginia and I was cold.

Fits good. Not thrilled by color, but may find it more workable with my wardrobe than I think. I'm hoping the 800 fill will provide the warmth I need for a Wisconsin winter.

Great color. It is slightly shiny. It is extremely light and packable, but warm. I have yet to test it out in truly frigid weather (I am typically always cold, and freeze in 40 degree weather). I wore it to a sporting event that I went to outside in 45-50 degree weather. It was cozy without being too warm. I love that the length is slightly below the butt because jackets that end at my waist let cold air in. Can see this jacket being put to good use this year.

Great product, I would recommend this to those looking for a warm and fitted winter jacket. The sleeves are a little baggy but everything else fit well. I got a medium and am 5'10", 140lbs, so fairly tall and lanky. The sleeves fit when outstretched. I was nervous about the hips since several reviews saying they are tight, but they were just right for me (I am a size 28 in the waist).

  • “How long are the sleeves on an xl? ”
Asked by Noreen P from New York on 11/10/2017 4:54:10 PM
    • The sleeves on the Medium are great. I am 5 ft 8 inches, with long arms. Very pleased with the length, but unfortunately I can't tell you how long they are on an XL.

About Mountain Hardwear

Starting back in 1993, a small group of outdoor industry mavericks broke away from the pack to follow a less-traveled path. From the very beginning, the primary goal of Mountain Hardwear was to create an outdoor gear brand with a sharp focus on technology-driven design, superior performance and hardcore reliability. The result of this function-first mentality has been an array of incredible Mountain Hardwear jackets, clothing, tents, backpacks, sleeping bags and accessories. Today, after more than two decades of industry-leading innovation, Mountain Hardwear continues to set new benchmarks for dependability in the toughest conditions on the planet.
