So many gloves claim to be touchscreen compatible. This glove is touchscreen AWESOME! I purchased a large because I have long fingers and with that size the glove is slightly big for my hand, and the fingers are still a little too short -- a problem I typically have with gloves. If you do have long fingers, this glove will probably not provide you a perfect fit. No issues comment or complaints with the waterproof feature. That is as advertised. Not perfect, but overall, I'm happy with these gloves.

These gloves are nearly perfect for my needs. I live in Portland, Oregon and needed waterproof gloves for riding my scooter. The gloves needed to be thin enough to control the throttle and brakes easily, yet also waterproof and windproof. These gloves are perfect for that, and cost less than Out Dry gloves sold by other stores. My only complaint is sizing. I am on the small side (5' 4", 118 lbs, my wrist is about 5.25" around), but have long-ish fingers. Medium-sized gloves usually do the trick. The fingers in these are a little short -- enough to make them just a little uncomfortable as my fingertips jam up against the ends of the gloves.

    • No fleece or other lining. Not warm. When I am scootering in colder weather, I wear a thin pair of knit gloves (the kind one can usually buy for a $1 or so) under them. That works well for that purpose. I wouldn't wear them skiing or hiking. I'd go with real snow gloves for those things. I need more mobility with my scooter (to control throttle and brakes), so I won't risk puffy winter gloves.

About Mountain Hardwear

Starting back in 1993, a small group of outdoor industry mavericks broke away from the pack to follow a less-traveled path. From the very beginning, the primary goal of Mountain Hardwear was to create an outdoor gear brand with a sharp focus on technology-driven design, superior performance and hardcore reliability. The result of this function-first mentality has been an array of incredible Mountain Hardwear jackets, clothing, tents, backpacks, sleeping bags and accessories. Today, after more than two decades of industry-leading innovation, Mountain Hardwear continues to set new benchmarks for dependability in the toughest conditions on the planet.
