I like everything about these underware except the material is pilling or balling up on the outside after 1 wash. I can tell it is going to get worse over time. May not effect performance but looks bad.

very warm, great for outdoor activites on cold winter days, slightly large fit could be used for second layer in a three layer system.

I have several other pairs of Mt Hardware tights, I wear them skiing, biking and as underlayers. I wear them around the house because they are so comfortable. These new ones are terrible, they don't fit right, pilling in the crotch and in back of the knees. Must be the gray color all my other ones are black. These won't last very long in my drawer. I gave the other pair away.

About Mountain Hardwear

Starting back in 1993, a small group of outdoor industry mavericks broke away from the pack to follow a less-traveled path. From the very beginning, the primary goal of Mountain Hardwear was to create an outdoor gear brand with a sharp focus on technology-driven design, superior performance and hardcore reliability. The result of this function-first mentality has been an array of incredible Mountain Hardwear jackets, clothing, tents, backpacks, sleeping bags and accessories. Today, after more than two decades of industry-leading innovation, Mountain Hardwear continues to set new benchmarks for dependability in the toughest conditions on the planet.
