Bulkier than expected, and color not at all as represented on any computer screen I used!

I love Mountain Hardwear products. I bought these pants in the "wink" (light blue) color in a medium. I am as medium as medium gets (5'5" 125 lbs. ) They are HUGE! Not only that, but a very, very baggy cut overall. I am so disappointed. Also, the wink color is much more turquoise than the picture shows (at least on my computer.) I even cross-referenced with other websites and they all make them look much more like a lighter blue.

As far as quality goes, pretty basic pants with a pretty basic feel to the fabric. Not what I would expect from MH.

Although the lower legs are extra wide, these pants deserve five stars. They're truly waterproof and warm. I ski in a wet climate and all previous purchases (other brands) have let me down. With the thin but effective insulation, I am now comfortable hiking off piste, skiing down and even on the lift. When temps rise, just open the vents. As far as fit, I wear a women's XL in most clothing; these pants are roomier than most. Very pleased with my purchase.

I am a full time ski and snowboard instructor and wanted a pair of pants that were NOT black! I purchased a pair in dark berry and love them, they match my own non uniform coat well. Warm without being too bulky is a plus as well. Length is perfect. (I am 5'6 and I bought the regular length.) The only minor issue I have is how Mt Hardwear does their sizing: I am a 10-12, but their medium is an 8-10 and a large is a 12-14. So the size large is a little on the too big side, and the size medium is a little on the too small side. (I'm curvy. I bought both sizes and ultimately took the large. I like a less snug fit for snowboarding and the 8-10 medium size were a tad too little/too snug in the hips/butt area) That being said the pants are a very good quality and I loved the price.

I live in Vermont and the temperatures and wind can get brutal so I needed a pant that I could wear skiing on those really cold days. These great pants fit the bill! There is plenty of room for layering and the legs are relaxed so you don't feel like the michelin man! There is good waist adjustability so that even if you have lots of layers you don't go losing your pants!

bought these pants in size M, were too snug for my taste. I am 5'9" and about 160 lb. Cut and material were great, not too low on the hips, and insulation felt warm too. Returned them since they were to snug, so won't be able to try them in skiimg conditions.

I am 5'7 and weigh 130. I did the measurements per the chart and the medium was very very big. I returned it and I am now waiting for the small.
