I like this sweater so much I have it in 4 colors. It's fitted so it accentuates the figure. I wear XS @ 110lb and 5'6". My hands are always cold so I tend to stretch long sleeves over my hands to keep them warm. Sometimes garments in XS have sleeves shorter than I'd like. This sweater has generous long sleeves so that's a plus for me. Someone mentioned that the lack of a button at the bottom bothered them but I actually like it. The different color and material of the bottom of the sweater gives it a nice contrast and because the garment is fitted the absence of a button helps with comfort when sitting down. The sweater is warm and feels nice to the skin if worn over short sleeve. Great sweater all around!

I was worried this would be scratchy as I have a pullover sarafin sweater that is scratchy. This isn't!!! I wear it camping as well as lounging and it doesn't disappoint. I will buy another!

Mountain Hardware never disappoints, years ago met a very stylish outdoorsy CEO (former model) on group hiking tour to Peru, she swore by Mountain Hardware and since then I look for that brand on STP. I love the way this top fits, nice to layer with an Icebreaker or Smartwool top. It is also stylish, dressier than a fleece zip top, nice enough to wear to most places.

Warm, lovely, and flattering. I have short arms and the sleeves look fine rolled up. It has a turquoise liner and the jacket itself is green with turquoise bits in it. I'm a busty 5'4" 150 lbs and a L fits fine. Love it!

Got the pinksh one in small. I am a consistent 6. Way too small. Had no mediums. I would say the designer is colorblind however. The lining of the collar and button lapel is a fushia color that really doesn't go with the outer color. Oh well. Very nice sweater/jacket.

  • “What is the sleeve length?”
Asked by Jill from NH on 3/15/2015 8:22:48 AM
    • Hi, the sleeves are pretty normal in length. I'm 5' 4" with longish arms. I always like to order Sarafin sweaters a size up so the sweater fits more loosely. This means I give the sleeves a 1" roll up. If I'd ordered my regular size...pretty sure the sleeves would have fit fine, or a little long. I find that the sleeves do not run short for me - even on my other Sarafins.

    • Not sure the length, but I'm 5'8" and they were just fine for me.

About Mountain Hardwear

Starting back in 1993, a small group of outdoor industry mavericks broke away from the pack to follow a less-traveled path. From the very beginning, the primary goal of Mountain Hardwear was to create an outdoor gear brand with a sharp focus on technology-driven design, superior performance and hardcore reliability. The result of this function-first mentality has been an array of incredible Mountain Hardwear jackets, clothing, tents, backpacks, sleeping bags and accessories. Today, after more than two decades of industry-leading innovation, Mountain Hardwear continues to set new benchmarks for dependability in the toughest conditions on the planet.
