nice pack, for dayhikes

I got this pack on a whim, hoping it would be large enough for a week end pack, there are no good reviews online, and the videos of this pack aren't very good either. Well, it is big enough for my gear: a down bag, a hammock and tarp, a small butane stove, and a small pot. Not to mention toiletries, and extra clothes. But the back panel, though it says it will not bend with any load, certainly will, and it doesn't take much, but this is not that big of a deal, as it is very minimal. The real deal breaker was lack of good straps, the waist belts padded area is not enough to wrap around my hips, and I am a 32" also, the lack of load lifter straps on the shoulder pads makes the hipbelt unable to act as a good load bearer. Conclusion: if you need a good day pack for quick trips, where you will be carrying under 10 pounds get this, or if you have a very low volume and weight backpacking kit, this will work well. If you want a lightweight bag for lightweight backpacking, and you want comfort...... Keep searching this is not for you.
