Suprisingly Warm

I purchased this jacket from STP and have worn it over a range of conditions. It's surprisingly warm. I wore this on a day hike to the top of Mt. Pisgah in NC on 11/20/16. Temps at the start of the hike were 28F. Wind was blowing 15 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. At the top, there was constant wind of 20+ mph. This jacket is great at the lower wind speeds at blocking wind. During some of the gusts, you could start to feel the cold a bit. I stayed reasonably warm the entire hike. I think the comfort limit of this jacket when just standing around (for me at least) would be around 30F with little to no wind and 40F with a moderate to strong wind.

One comment on appearance, for the jacket I received, the gray was much darker than in the image online. It's almost black. It's not an issue for me as I care more about performance.
