This fits like a shirt, and is extremely well made. It runs true to size as a shirt, but if you are going to wear it as a jacket with something bulky under it you might consider ordering a size up.

I have worn this jacket every day since receiving it. It has a wide range of use. I have worn it in as cold as single digits and in the 60's. Very diverse use. Worth the great price. Very easy to clean as well.

I did not realize there was a name for the shirts my husband loves. This is warmebough for a light jacket-but great for a shirt.

Large is sized appropriately...a little long in the sleeve and torso for my build (5'8", 195, 43" chest...short torso, 33/34" sleeves). This fits consistent with other Mountain Hardware shirts/jackets. I wish companies offered short variants! Great for lounging around our cool home and really holds the warmth, especially with a midweight base layer that is a staple this time of year. It is far from bulky an offers a nice level of insulation. Hand pockets are a really nice bonus. I have yet to wear it outside to experience the level at which the wind gets through the buttons.

About Mountain Hardwear

Starting back in 1993, a small group of outdoor industry mavericks broke away from the pack to follow a less-traveled path. From the very beginning, the primary goal of Mountain Hardwear was to create an outdoor gear brand with a sharp focus on technology-driven design, superior performance and hardcore reliability. The result of this function-first mentality has been an array of incredible Mountain Hardwear jackets, clothing, tents, backpacks, sleeping bags and accessories. Today, after more than two decades of industry-leading innovation, Mountain Hardwear continues to set new benchmarks for dependability in the toughest conditions on the planet.
