I have been searching for lightweight rain pants that are long enough, comfortable in the waist (but not so loose they ride down), easy to move it (but not so full that I look like a clown). These pants fit all these criteria! I am slim, with trim hips and thighs, but 2 kids and the years have left ... Read More

Pants were everything advertised, but WAY to big for me. No time to try alternate sizing, had to return

Very light weight, Goretex pants great for slipping on over my riding jeans. They are long enough for boots and bend well in the saddle. I have not yet tried them in the rain, but I am confident in Gore-Tex products.

So far, I have just tried these on so I'm hoping they live up to their waterproofness. Yes, they are noisy, but so were the other Gore-Tex pants that I tried on (which were more expensive and heavier). I like these because they are thin and light enough to pack away in a daypack, and they fit easily over another pair of pants (Lowe Alpine Ascent) assuming you have a dry place to put them on. No, I would not want to try and get these on over hiking boots in the middle of a rainstorm with no cover.

I'm looking for a breathable waterproof shell. Thought these would be it. But they are just too thin and flimsy and they are cut very large. Sending them back.

I should have paid more attention to the reviews before ordering these pants, but in the midst of Christmas, I was in a hurry. Like several others stated, these pants are very oddly designed in the thigh area and are noisy whenever you move. I had to send them back. Very disappointing since they were intended to be a Christmas gift.

The available sizes for this product are listed as XS with lengths L and R. The Q & A for this product states an inseam length for L (too long) and S (29"), but says nothing about length "R". About Mountain Hardwear

Starting back in 1993, a small group of outdoor industry mavericks broke away from the pack to follow a less-traveled path. From the very beginning, the primary goal of Mountain Hardwear was to create an outdoor gear brand with a sharp focus on technology-driven design, superior performance and hardcore reliability. The result of this function-first mentality has been an array of incredible Mountain Hardwear jackets, clothing, tents, backpacks, sleeping bags and accessories. Today, after more than two decades of industry-leading innovation, Mountain Hardwear continues to set new benchmarks for dependability in the toughest conditions on the planet.
