I have been searching for lightweight rain pants that are long enough, comfortable in the waist (but not so loose they ride down), easy to move it (but not so full that I look like a clown). These pants fit all these criteria! I am slim, with trim hips and thighs, but 2 kids and the years have left ... Read More

Reviewed by karmagurl from Oregon on Thursday, July 25, 2013Pants were everything advertised, but WAY to big for me. No time to try alternate sizing, had to return
Reviewed by Horsedancer from Tennessee on Sunday, April 7, 2013Very light weight, Goretex pants great for slipping on over my riding jeans. They are long enough for boots and bend well in the saddle. I have not yet tried them in the rain, but I am confident in Gore-Tex products.
Reviewed by Vacation Hiker from Florida on Saturday, February 2, 2013So far, I have just tried these on so I'm hoping they live up to their waterproofness. Yes, they are noisy, but so were the other Gore-Tex pants that I tried on (which were more expensive and heavier). I like these because they are thin and light enough to pack away in a daypack, and they fit easily over another pair of pants (Lowe Alpine Ascent) assuming you have a dry place to put them on. No, I would not want to try and get these on over hiking boots in the middle of a rainstorm with no cover.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Nutella from Ithaca, NY on Saturday, February 2, 2013I'm looking for a breathable waterproof shell. Thought these would be it. But they are just too thin and flimsy and they are cut very large. Sending them back.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mountain trekker from Iowa on Friday, December 28, 2012I should have paid more attention to the reviews before ordering these pants, but in the midst of Christmas, I was in a hurry. Like several others stated, these pants are very oddly designed in the thigh area and are noisy whenever you move. I had to send them back. Very disappointing since they were intended to be a Christmas gift.

“My daughter is a size 0 or 2, a petite 5' 2'' tall, and has had trouble finding waterproof pants that might actually fit, especially the inseam length. The available sizes for this product are listed as XS with lengths L and R. The Q & A for this product states an inseam length for L (too long) and S (29"), but says nothing about length "R". What is that inseam length ? Do you think this product has a chance to fit her ? Thanks.|-Dad-”
Women's regular inseam lengths are 30/31". These will be long for your daughter as I'm 5'6" and that's the perfect length for me.
The size medium pants weigh 11oz. and the waist is 32". On the size small the waist is 28" and for the extra small it is 26".
