Well, they are not primarily because they tend to pill pretty quickly. That is, the fabric develops little knots (or pills) on the surface of the shirt. These are the beginning of the degradation of the fabric. Other than that the shirts are soft and do wick moisture well. As they advertise the seams are flat and unobtrusive. They are suitable at the sale price I paid.

The material used to make this short sleeve shirt is lightweight, stretchy and silk soft. The material dries immediately when it becomes moist due to perspiration. Even though I have several dozen expensive designer cotton short sleeve collar shirts, I find myself immediately putting on a MH Wicked short sleeve tee shirt when I am dressing in the morning. You will find this short sleeve shirt so comfortable in hot weather that you will not want to wear anything else. I think I now own 20 - 25 of these shirts. Great value from STP.

I own more than ten wicked zip long sleeve shirts because I like the feel of the material and it is fast drying. Stretchy too. These SS wicked shirts are great outer layers in hot weather and great under layers in cooler weather. I really like the soft stretchy fabric. You will too.
