5.0 out of 5 stars. Great backcountry mealVerified Buyer Reviewed by Eric from Colorado on Wednesday, June 6, 2018My daughter and I ate this on our first trip of the summer to RMNP. It was really good. The chicken, rice, and vegetables turned out great. We need to order more of this one. It says 2.5 servings but it was a good size for the 2 of us.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Delicious!Verified Buyer Reviewed by M from SoCal on Wednesday, January 10, 2018Had this for dinner for an overnight trip in Topanga State Park. Pleasantly surprised with how hearty and fantastic this meal came out. The technology behind this freeze dried food stuff is really out of this world. Highly recommended. Just add hot water and enjoy :)

4.0 out of 5 stars. Taste good, lightweight and fillingVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from NM on Tuesday, July 4, 2017Good for back or front country camping. Use 1 to 1.25 cups of water instead of 2, and let sit longer than 10 minutes, at least 15. Taste decent enough, pretty impressed

4.0 out of 5 stars. Easy and tastes goodVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Texas at the moment on Monday, August 22, 2016Mountain House is one of the larger brands of freeze-dried, backcountry meals. I recommend all their meals, because I like to mix up flavors from day to day. If you like chicken teriyaki, you will like this after you're exhausted from some hard trail miles. If you're car camping, I would say do something else, but if you're bike/canoe/backpacking and need light, quick, satisfying food, then all of Mountain House's food is good.
Pro-tip: the package is much larger than it needs to be and the sharp corners of the foil-plastic can poke between the matrix of most lightweight material. Take some scissors and cut the corners off the bottom and top before you go. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Very TastyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Chemin de Fer from Baltimore, Maryland on Wednesday, August 10, 2016I ate the chicken teriyaki last week on a hiking trip. It was very tasty--not too salty, like a lot of freeze-dried dinners. The meal was ready in the time stated on the package. I would definitely buy this product again from Sierra Trading Post.
