Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ohio Mom from Ohio on Thursday, September 1, 2016Bought this for my husband, but I may end up stealing it. Super cozy and comfy. It will be great for autumn hikes and bonfires and just around the house (we keep it cool!).
Reviewed by Seanahue from Minnesota on Thursday, April 21, 2016I am 6'6" and 215 lbs. and the XL fit me OK. The waist was a little short but the sleeves were actually almost long enough for me. I had to stretch the sleeves out a little bit, but not as much as the body. There are some things that I'd like to point out about this product:
-Thumb holes. These are actually very useful in keeping my hands warm, especially as a layering piece.
-Chest zipper. This played a sizable part in my decision to purchase.
-Zip neck. Can adjust to compensate for different temperatures.
-Thick material. This stuff is thicker than the Icebreaker 260. The merino wool to cost ratio is extremely good here.
-Fleece-like inner. It's 100% merino wool, but it feels like soft fleece on the inside.
-No draw cord hem. This isn't a huge deal for me since it isn't windproof and I'd probably wear this as a layer anyway. In other words, if I had other layers and bibs over this, I doubt a draw cord hem would make much of a difference from preventing body heat to escape. Despite that being said, it still is a very good choice to wear in public/at school.
Overall, I'm surprised this is still in stock. If you don't know about merino wool, I feel bad for you. And yes, it is worth it. The only thing that would have made this perfect would be if the body was a little longer. Luckily, I could stretch it out so now it fits fine.
