I'm a 57-yo woman and took this out on my first backpacking/camping trip to Big Bend National Park. I lived in this thing for a week. Even though I was in the desert, I experienced unexpected hard storms with gusts of wind up to 40mph for two nights. My tent buckled and pitched but everything held up beautifully! No leaking, little to no condensation (I had one vent open) and it was small enough to keep me warm with body heat even though it was 39 degrees outside. Also, I was camped on very rocky ground and with my Tyvek footprint underneath that I made, absolutely no damage was done to my tent. My only complaint (very minor) was the tent stakes bent in the rocky soil so it was hard to keep my vestibule staked out tightly and after a heavy rain, it was hard to keep rain from dripping inside the tent when I unzipped the door (could be my fault because i am new at this). If this could come in a slightly lighter weight and had better stakes, I would give it 5 stars! I got tons of compliments from other campers on this tent!
