This pack is well made and fits well when lightly loaded. When loaded too heavily (which is possible given its size) it doesn't sit quite right for me. Still, I like it a lot.

This is a beautiful pack. It is too stiff and zippers stick. Probably good as a lumbar pack but the shoulder strap kept falling off. I had to return it.

Top quality construction as always with mountainsmith. Comfortable to wear even when loaded down with 2 liters of water, DSLR, and baby gear. Took the kids to the aquarium today and wore it for about 4 hours straight without the shoulder strap and couldn't believe how comfortable it was. Easy to get stuff out of compared to a backpack and much cooler.

I have been looking at these Mountainsmith lumbar packs for a while and was able to find the one I wanted on STP for a great price. Along with the additional 35% off deal, it was a steal! So far it has performed very well for travel. I really like that I can use the shoulder strap or waist belt. Works well for day hikes where you don't want to carry much or when the dog carries his share of the load.

This bag is great. I use it as a diaper bag and it just fits all our stuff, including cloth diapers. Great quality, wish it was just a tad larger but works well for us.
