My husband and I travel a lot and I wanted a backpack smaller than my Osprey that I could take on a plane and fit it under the seat in front of me. We're moving to New Zealand in March so there will be a lot of layovers, customs, and planes so I'll update this once that happens.
But for now, this little guy is great. I have a large 17" laptop and figured if it didn't fit I could return it. It is super snug but with a slight modification (I sliced the little tab that covers the zipper when it's closed in half) the laptop slips right in and out now. It sticks off of the back a little when the laptop is in, but if I'm just hiking if conforms really well and I can slide a camleback into the compartment or an extra shirt or pants. There are not a lot of internal pockets to hold the little stuff but enough for the essentials. The water bottle holder is great, made out of a stretchy mesh, I can easily fit my 32 oz. water bottle in it and it actually doesn't even stick out the pocket is so deep. Great little bag, especially for the price.
