4.0 out of 5 stars. Good pack for the price. Elk hunt.Reviewed by Luke from Ohio on Sunday, July 12, 2020I bought this pack for an 11 day backcountry elk hunting trip. I was on a budget. It performed well, distributed weight nice, and is comfortable. It does not have a meat shelf, so if any hunters buy this be sure to pack a trash bag as a liner. I did not get an elk, but I do kind of question meat pack out capibilites, but it is built stout. Just don't overload it. It is not built of thin fabric you see in these ultralight bags, which is a positive for me. I'm about to take it out again this season. At the fraction of a cost of a Kifaru or Kuiu bag ($800), it was worth a try for me. I don't expect it to perform like those bags, of course.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Okay for what I NEEDVerified Buyer Reviewed by Back in the sport from N.E. on Saturday, November 23, 2019Got this at clearance price (good deal) This is a back up / winter pack. I just couldn't fit my winter gear plus a little of my Scout sons. This gave me the additional space, and hauling ability. Seems to be good quality not fond of the way the length adjusts. A very large hook and loop pad that holds very good with full pad almost too good. Hope it is as secure with partial being used as once adjusted to my fit. Stitching and overall workmanship look very good.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Just starting outVerified Buyer Reviewed by Al from Kansas on Tuesday, November 19, 2019I have Osprey and Mammut packs ranging from 38L to 65L. I needed a larger pack for one trek/climb (Aconcagua). I came across this pack and the ratings and value were too good to pass up. I have not put it through its paces in training yet. It looks great and seems pretty rugged. I will update this review as I become more familiar with the pack.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Light weightVerified Buyer Reviewed by khaliqi from Colorado on Tuesday, November 12, 2019This replaces a heavy 1991 pack. It has similar capacity and yet is light weight. Great for a middle aged guy.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Large compartment limited pocketsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Kyle from New York on Tuesday, September 11, 2018This pack is has a very large capacity. With that being said there are limited access points to the main compartment. There is no divider between the bottom “sleeping bag” compartment and the rest of the bag. This makes it hard to reach items in your pack without unloading most of it.
The pack supports nicely but I found the hip belt a little too big even when sinched all the way down. I’m 5’11” with a 32” waist.
There are lots of adjustments and compression straps which is great for a pack of this size. For the price, I was pleased with its performance.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great valueReviewed by Leemaybe from Colorado on Tuesday, August 1, 2017My son had been on an Outward Bound trip last year and we decided to go together this year. Worked well for him over several days in the Snowy Range averaging 7+ miles/day, including the ascent of Medicine Bow Peak. Not a top of the line brand, but seems well made and well designed overall.
