Poor choice of fabric and stitch pattern

This is a very useful set of bags in terms of size and overall design layout. Have used them over the last year for everything from organizing food and clothes at burning man to gear organization for extended camping trips. The problem with these bags is the tendency for the coated ripstop fabric to fail (tear parallel to top seam) under carry load, as a result of poor fabric choice at load points and the ill-conceived single stitch attaching the back panel to the top panel. I'll be returning the failed bags very soon.
